Lecturer’s biography
Leonid Kritz is an international chess grandmaster and a quantitative asset manager who has been working in the financial industry for over ten years. As part of his job, he has been heavily involved in building predictive models to forecast returns of commodities futures. In this class he will cover the basic building blocks of programming and data science that will prepare students for the most important part of the course – applying the knowledge to financial trading, specifically – creating futures trading strategies.
